Norwegian Strømme Throndsen Design, Oslo, received 3 awards at Pentawards 2011, held in New York on September 29th. Creative director Morten Throndsen and senior designer Eia Grødal were both present at the ceremony and had the pleasure of receiving the Gold Award for Jens Eide, the Silver Award for Lofoten Lyngen and the Bronze Award for Michael's Farm.

But Lars is not too happy about the “Lyngen Lofoten” design.

– but not a Wallentin one!
Of course, the design is interesting – more than most of today's packages – but the layout is what the Brits call “a dog's dinner” – totally unstructured.
Yes: Interesting, but “Lyngen”, the arctic alps merit a better writing and not a crossword.
What a missed opportunity not showing when the mountains meet the sea!
No: Not a winner – but a very special pack!
