About Lars:
Lars G. Wallentin is beyond any doubt the world's most recognized packaging design specialist. For more than 30 years he has traveled the world to teach how to create brands, packaging and communication in the most efficient manner possible. Lars is also an exceptional showman. Each of his lectures is a real treat, where the audience learns while having fun. He is also highly appreciated as a jury member in design competitions. Today, Lars Wallentin continues his passion, giving advices to design agencies and brand owners all over the world.
Packaging itself manufactured in premium matt certified FSC paper, inserts in black corrugated cardboard with colored core. Design was created by Vipp & Boxhouse of Copenhagen. This is their story behind it:
- Our ambition for the new Vipp packaging was to create a unique packaging concept, that embodies Vipp's principles on aesthetics and function. With this design we have succeeded in implementing a packaging concept to very different products, both in terms of size and function.

Danish design. No doubt about it.
But for me, who visits Illum Bolighus at least once a year, I have seen hundreds of similar “minimalists”.
Well done yes – but boring!
“First you design, then you decorate” is one of my many advices.
These designs have no life!
