- Outside a cardboard box, inside a foil tube that holds the wine after opening up to eight weeks. Aromatic and fresh keeping, this box saves 40% costs, 85% waste and 55% CO2 for production and transport in comparison to the traditional glass bottle.
- This is a superb environmental performance and three-liter premium wine at an unbeatable price, says “Pentawards” entrant, Ruska Martin Associates of Berlin, Germany.
Lars Wallentin:
Wow!
This is a clear winner as it is UNIQUE!
The design tells the correct story that it is “not expensive wine”, and for those who would say “it doesn't look like wine”, I answer “don't forget that this pack is in the middle of all other wines!”
Great concept, but as I often say, and as you can read on my website packagingsense.com “first you design – then you decorate”.
This pack could, however, have had a little bit more decoration.
