About Lars:

Lars G. Wallentin is beyond any doubt the world's most recognized packaging design specialist. For more than 30 years he has traveled the world to teach how to create brands, packaging and communication in the most efficient manner possible. Lars is also an exceptional showman. All artwork layout, label design and colour matching for the complete “Aura” range of products has been developed by Burgopak. “Aura” is a new modern health and lifestyle brand, offering organic and traditional Chinese health food, supplements, beauty and healing remedies in the UK.

- Colour has been consciously used to easily distinguish the different product families, says Burgopak. - Placement of text was also integral to the design process to assist in making the products easy to find in point of sale displays and to clearly display essential product information. Clean and simple artwork was developed for all bottle labels, tea bag tabs and for screen-printing directly onto Aura's beauty cream pots.

This case is interesting --- because it is impossible to judge!! --- unless you hold the pack in your hands.

“Pentawards” is a great competition, but it has a few drawbacks. One is that you – as a jury member – do not receive a sample of the package to judge

- material
- back panel communication
- ergonomics, easy opening etc.

Well, my friends Evrards (the founders of “Pentawards”) know my opinion – and I realize that the only way to judge hundreds if not thousands of pack designs is to do it electronically.
