The brains behind the “Froosh” packaging design are Pearlfisher in London, England. They also have an office in New York, USA.
This is their mantra on design: “Design is to create the future. And it creates a better future because it solves problems, connects, seduces and transforms with maximum impact. We create designs informed by insight, distilled by strategy and brought to life through realization. Insight sees the future. Strategy shows the way to future”.
So far, so good. And what is the verdict of Lars Wallentin when it comes to the design of the “Froosch” packages? Hmmm ---
Lars Wallentin:
--- one more of those minimalist UK design which I just don't like.
Missed opportunity. Just imagine if they had given color to the “double o's”!
No: Such designs should not win, in my opinion. But the jury has seen it differently.
Sorry, Pearlfisher.
