Lars G. Wallentin is beyond any doubt the world's most recognized packaging design specialist. Packaging for “Blink – Brut sparkling wine” won a Gold Medal in the “Petawards” competition last year. It is designed by Beetroort Design Group, Kalamaria, Greece, which was honored as “the best agency in 2011” by Red Dot Agency.
Beetroot also won a “Pentawards” Gold Medal for the “Prana” fish packaging design.
The company was founded in 2000 and works on a number of projects where graphic design is conceivable and applicable. The list of their clients doesn't only include Greece, but also established companies and organizations from abroad.

Sparkling wine is something very festive. How do you express this merry feeling if you want it to be unique?
Answer: With its strong graphics, of course, as the bottle shape is more or less fixed (due to the inside pressure).
The “Blink” follows a great rule: Be simple, and you stand out!
